Tall Trumpet Hurricane Globe, 1 5/8" Base

A: At this time we are not producing and crackle glass. We do hope to begin making crackle glass globes again in late 2015. For now, the closest option we have to that would be our Colonial Seed Glass, which you can view here: http://www.brassandsilvertraditions.com/Colonial-Seed-Glass-Globe_p_1548.html.

A: The top diameter is 5 inches. This, along with all of the other product specifications are listed in the Product Description portion of the page for your reference.

A: No. In addition to this clear option, we have the frosted finish, or we have the Flare Globes in Blue, Green, Yellow, Red, and Purple.

A: The diameter of the glass itself is 1 5/8", so your opening would need to be slightly larger than that in diameter for the glass to fit. If the opening size in your candelabra is 1 5/8" there will not be space for the glass.

A: At this time we only have our clear glass available in the 1 3/4" diameter size. This would be our 1 5/8" glass with adhesive foam wrapped around the base to extend the diameter to the larger size, which works very well. We do hope to resume production of our BS1008G Crackle Glass globes in 2022, though, so you may want to add your name to the waiting list for that product to be notified when it becomes available again.

All of our glass products are blown glass, therefore, they may vary slightly from batch to batch. Imperfections will be present, and are considered normal.

Measure very carefully prior to ordering! Even 1/8 inch difference in diameter can cause the glass to not fit. Keep in mind that the diameter of the opening in your hurricane socket needs to be larger than the diameter of the globe's stem. Feel free to call or email us if you have questions regarding accurate measuring for replacement glass.

*Please note that when ordering the 1 3/4 inch diameter globes, the bases will come wrapped with adhesive foam to cushion and secure the glass in your hurricane socket. If you are ordering a smaller base diameter, we can include strips of the adhesive foam upon request. Just indicate that you would like us to include foam strips in the comments box during checkout.
