Please measure your candle holders very carefully prior to ordering. Even 1/8 inch difference in diameter can cause the glass to not fit. Remember, the opening of your hurricane socket must be at least 1/8 inch smaller than the size of the glass you order. Base diameter measurements are outside edge to outside edge of the glass.

Similar in shape to our EC1001 Trumpet globes, the BS1065G is simply smaller. This globe measures 8 1/2 inches tall overall, one inch of which is the base. The top opening is approximately 5 inches in diameter. The base has an exterior edge to edge measurement of 1 5/8 inches without foam wraps on the stem, or 1 3/4 inches in diameter with the optional foam wraps. The interior opening is 1 3/8 inches across. The globes weigh 8 ounces each. Please do note that all of our glass products are blown glass, therefore, they may vary slightly from batch to batch. Imperfections will be present and are considered normal.

*Please note that when ordering the 1 3/4 inch diameter globes, the bases will come wrapped with adhesive foam to cushion and secure the glass in your hurricane socket. If you are ordering a smaller base diameter, we can include strips of the adhesive foam upon request. Just indicate that you would like us to include foam strips in the comments box during checkout.

Just Right

We received two pewter candlesticks as wedding gifts. The globes were very thin glass and we tried to be so careful handling them but eventually one did break. With the advent of the internet and access to so many suppliers of a great variety of items, we were finally able to replace the globe. We got two so they would match. They are a perfect fit and we think they look better than the originals. We were very pleased with the ease of navigating the web site, the descriptions of the items and the instructions for ordering and picking the correct size. Delivery was prompt and the globes were packed with care.

Attractive globes

The base fits perfectly. I wish the globe was about 2 inches taller. I looked online for over 2 months and glad I finally found you!

Short Trumpet Hurricane Globe

I recently moved into a condo from a house and in preparing for the move I mistakenly sold the globe to a wall sconce I was not using. The sconce fit in my new home, but there was no globe. I ordered this one and it came quickly and in fine condition. It fits well and looks great on the sconce. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Trumpet Hurricane Globe

We are very happy with our purchase from Brass & Silver Traditions. The replacement Hurricane Globes (the original globes were broken during Hurricane Sandy!) are very nice, arrived on time and fit perfectly. Thank you for the excellent service.
