Need a teeny, tiny hurricane globe? Meet our most petite option for replacement hurricane glass. This small globe has the same essential shape as our larger Trumpet Globes, but measures just 6 3/4 inches tall including the stem. The stem itself is 3/4 of an inch tall, and the globe itself measures 6 inches in height.
The outer base diameter measures 1 5/8"* without the optional foam wraps, or 1 3/4" with the adhesive foam.
The base has an interior opening diameter of 1 3/8 inches. At the top, the Petite Trumpet Globe flares to an opening of 3 3/4 inches in diameter.
Please measure your candle holders very carefully prior to ordering. Even 1/8 inch difference in diameter can cause the glass to not fit. Keep in mind that the diameter of the opening in your hurricane socket needs to be larger than the diameter of the globe's stem.
Feel free to call or email us if you have questions regarding accurate measuring for replacement glass.
*Please note that when ordering the 1 3/4 inch diameter globes, the base will come wrapped with adhesive foam to cushion and secure the glass in your hurricane socket. If you are ordering a smaller base diameter, we can include strips of the adhesive foam upon request. Just indicate that you would like us to include foam strips in the comments box during checkout.

hurricane glove
We received a globe to replace a broken one and we were please with the globe but when we placed the order we were told that the base would be wrapped with material to aid in a secure fitting with our fixture. Unfortunately, it did not arrive as stated. *Administrator note: The adhesive foam is something that we add upon request. Unless it is requested on your order, or the foam is needed to secure the globe in a base that we are sending with the globe, the adhesive foam is not added to the glass automatically. If you need to foam after your order has been placed, just let us know and we would be happy to send it to you.

Globes and adapters
After I recieved my first order consisting of globes and one silver adapter I realized I needed another adapter. I did not see any where in the online catalogue where I could purchase just a silver adapter so I called your company and spoke with a very nice lady who said that if I gave them 30 minutes they would send me a link back to Brass and Silver where I would find the silver adapters for purchase individually. That was awesome! That was great customer service.

Hurrican Globes
Arrived safely. beautifully packed. fits my lamps well...just a little bit wobbly...needs an elastic band around. I had searched for a long time before I found anything which would replace my broken globes...so Thank you.

Q:
Are the listed measurements for hurricane globes the inside or outside diameter of the globe itself? So - if my candlestick has a 1-3/4" inside diameter, which globe should I buy? Thank you.

All of our listed base measurements are from the outside edge to outside edge of the glass. If your candle holder has an opening of 1 3/4 inches, the 1 5/8 glass diameter should probably fit. Unfortunately it is impossible to say for sure without having the two piece together to try. The most important thing is to make sure you buy glass with a smaller base diameter than the opening into which it will sit.
