Liberty Snuffer, Pewter

In addition to the Liberty Snuffer in Pewter, I purchased the Chamber Stick and Candle Follower in Pewter. I was well pleased with everything save the Snuffer. At the pivot, the handle end looks like a mistake was made in manufacturing, and the bungled piece was assembled and shipped without care. The handle end has has screw threads that were then ground down to fit into the snuffer part. This looks very bad and likely weakens the snuffer. The same in silver is exceptionally fine. *Administrator Note: We are sorry you were unhappy with this snuffer. Every single Item we ship is inspected prior to shipping to make sure the quality is acceptable. The end of the handle attaches to the long bar by screwing onto the other piece - that is why there are threads there. Please do note that all of our products are hand made, thus they are not intended to look machined and flawless. Thank you.

This is exactly what I wanted to give our daughter for her 30th birthday! It''s a BIG one for her and this unique piece will begin a tradition in her home of remembering the "solid" values in her life.
