The same as our popular brass adapter, but with a pewter finish. Sold here as the adapter only, without glass. This is the perfect way to convert your 7/8 inch pewter candle holder into a hurricane lamp. Fits most standard 7/8 inch candle holders. This solid brass adapter has a heavy pewter plating, which is lacquered to prevent tarnishing. The adapter weighs seven ounces.

When moving my parent from Maryland to Florida, the adapters to my parents 1970's glass hurricane candlesticks were lost. I searched many, many websites looking for replacement adapters, but could only find them from Brass & Silver Traditions. Their website was easy to navigate with very good descriptions and pictures of items for sale. Price was very reasonable, since these adapters are difficult to find. Customer service and response time was excellent! If you're looking to purchase glass,brass or pewter pieces form years gone by, this is the website to check out first!

I need a hurricane adapter in polished BRASS. On your website the BRASS adapter is mentioned in the description for the pewter hurricane adapter. However, I'm unable to find where I can order the adapter in BRASS. What is the best way for me to order the adapter in polished brass? Thank you. Trish

The polished brass adapter is not currently available. We do hope to resume production of this piece next year.

I have a large brass Church Advent wreath with a SMALL opening in the center [?")for a much larger central Christ candle, which can be "cut down" to a 7/8th nub of about ¾-? depth. What is the EXTERIOR diameter of your pillar adaptor [pweter or silver]?

These adapters are made to accommodate hurricane glass of 1 3/4" in diameter. The diameter of the opening for the glass is about 1 7/8" with a candle socket in the middle to accommodate a 7/8" diameter candle.

At this time, this is the only size hurricane adapter that we produce. You may have luck searching vintage or second hand shops for other options that would work for your larger glass.

I'm looking for solid brass hurricane adapters to turn my Baldwin Brass candlesticks into huricanes. Your website states that you have solid brass and pewter adapters. I see the pewter one, but not the brass? What am I missing? Thank you!

We have produced this item in polished brass as well. At this time, the brass adapter is sold out, and these are not currently in production. Hopefully we will resume production of this piece in the next year, but do not have an anticipated date yet.
