*Please note that when ordering the 1 5/8 or 1 3/4 inch diameter globes, the bases will come wrapped with adhesive foam to cushion and secure the glass in your hurricane socket. If you are ordering a smaller base diameter, we can include strips of the adhesive foam upon request. Just indicate that you would like us to include foam strips in the comments box during checkout.

I ordered the purple flare Trumpet colored Hurricane Globe as an additional globe for the Writer's Desk Hurricane lamp. I love it! I like to change the color of the globe to fit the season or special occasion. The candlelight shimmers beautifully through the colored glass. The closest product we have to this in clear would be the Tall Trumpet Hurricane Globe. As of this date, 12/28/15, we are out of stock of the that item.

It is possible for us to produce these in different sizes. That would be a custom order, however, which comes with a minimum production quantity of 200 pieces. Q:
I am looking for a blue replacement hurricane globe. The one that got broken was straight up and down. You list the top diameter of 5". What is the middle of the globe diameter? I have a round piece that goes into the globe that is 4" that goes into the bottom of the globe with a screw on the bottom of it to screw into a decorative holder. Not sure if this 4" piece will fit all the way down inside the globe to get to the bottom. Thank you.

Unfortunately these globes will not accommodate a piece inside the globe. Not only will a four inch disc not fit through the tapered part of the glass, the curvature at the bottom of the globe would prevent the piece from fitting on the base.
