Black lantern holds a 7/8" round by 8" tall candle. This handsome lantern is made of sheet copper, which is finished with a black powder coating. Glass slides up and out for easy cleaning, back panel slides up. Lantern measures 5 inches square, and 14 inches tall including the handle. Weighs 2 pounds, 11 ounces.

I have a couple of questions about the Black Lantern BS1054. 1) What do you think the shipping cost would be across the country to the East Coast? I'd like to buy a few but am wondering how to figure in the shipping. No rush to reach me so ground transport or slower delivery is okay. 2) The candle is a standard taper correct, just no taller than 8 inches. 3) To extinguish candles in the lanterns, would you slide up the back panel? Would it be hot after use? Thank you. Laura

Hello, standard shipping is free on most orders $25 or more, so there would be no cost for shipping to the East Coast. Yes, you are correct about the type of candles. The back of the lantern does slide up and down to access the candle. The metal can become hot after use, so we advise caution when opening. There is a metal lip on top of the slide that usually remains cool.

Sorry, one more question about the Black Lantern BS1054. Do you sell the hook or the means to suspend the lantern in the air? If so is it on your website and what is the cost? If not, can you direct me to where I could purchase the hook?
