Sold out. An Exemplary example of the metalsmith's art using time honored tools and techniques, this beautiful wall sconce is hand made from brass sheets. These sheets are then cut, hand hammered, and finished with a heavy pewter plating. The candle socket is made of cast brass with a heavy pewter plating for a standard 7/8" candle. The sconce is curved and hand hammered to reflect the soft light to all corners of the room. The one arm sconce is solid brass and measures 13" high and 8" wide. The pewter finish is lacquered to keep it shining. Weight: 1 pound 3 ounces. Please note that at this time hanging hardware is not included with the sconces. This sconce is generally hung with a nail through the a hidden opening on the back of the sconce.

These sconces are just lovely. Traditional but the hammered pewter give them a more modern appearance. No surprises on this order, they look exactly as represented. I just love them!

Q:
The sconce seems to have copper and brass highlights in the center. Is that just a reflection of other light in the room or is that part of way the body of this hammered sconce appears?

Thank you for your question. The finish of these sconces is all pewter. The other colors that you see in the photos are just reflections.
