This Beehive Candlestick has heavy Pewter plating over solid brass, it measures 7-1/2" high X 3" base. The Beehive design is one inspired by early English cottage gardens. One of the most famous English cottage gardens was designed, not by an English gardener but, by none other than the French Impressionist painter, Claude Monet (1840-1926) who, we think, would be pleased with our offering. The Pewter is lacquered to maintain its luster, the base is felted to protect fine finishes. This candlestick weighs 1 pound 3 ounces.
