1603 Beehive Candle Snuffer
Our snuffer has a 10-1/2" handle and a 2-1/2" tall bell. Made of solid brass, the brass is lacquered to keep it shining. Weight: 4 1/2 ounces.

(In northern and western Europe, baskets made of coils of grass or straw, called skeps, were used for beehives. In the simplest form, there is a single entrance at the bottom of the skep.)
