This replacement glass option is representative of classic Early American design. Petite in size, this globe measures about 7 1/2 inches high including the base. The base has an outer diameter of 1 5/8 inches, and an opening diameter of about 1 1/4 inches. The top diameter measures 4 3/8 inches across.

  Despite measurements, did not fit. Not worth returning since shipping costs would be approx. same as any credit I might receive. To be honest, pretty annoying. Now I still have to find and buy another.
