Heavy metal bells of any kind are hard to find. As a result, we are proud to introduce our tall Schoolhouse Bell to our product line. We designed this handsome bell to meet the numerous requests we receive for a bell that is somewhat larger and more decorative than our 2604 Hand Bell.

The Schoolhouse bell is generously sized, weighing in at 1 pound, 5 ounces. The clapper is sized at approximately 1 inch in diameter, giving the bell a tone that is beautifully loud and deep. Overall, the bell measures 9 1/4 inches in height, and has a base diameter of 3 1/4 inches. Cast of solid brass and silver plated, the silver is then treated with an anti-tarnish finish to help prevent tarnishing. The Schoolhouse bell is carefully trimmed and polished by hand. This process makes each bell truly unique. Small imperfections are a tribute to this master craftsmanship.

While all silver plated items are treated with a finish to help prevent tarnishing, please note that periodic wiping with a soft cloth is still necessary to keep these items shining. Oxidation, which requires polishing, can still sometimes occur.
