Please measure your candle holders very carefully prior to ordering. Even 1/8 inch difference in diameter can cause the glass to not fit. Remember, the opening of your hurricane socket must be at least 1/8 inch smaller than the size of the glass you order. Base diameter measurements are outside edge to outside edge of the glass.

Similar in shape to our EC1001 globes, the BS1065G is simply smaller.This globe measures 8 1/2 inches tall overall, one inch of of which is the base. The top opening is approximately 5 inches in diameter. The base has an exterior measurement of 1 5/8 inches, and the interior opening is 1 3/8 inches across. The globes weigh 8 ounces each. Please do note that all of our glass products are blown glass, therefore, they may vary slightly from batch to batch. Imperfections will be present, and are considered normal.

*Please note that when ordering the 1 3/4 inch diameter globes, the bases will come wrapped with adhesive foam to cushion and secure the glass in your hurricane socket. If you are ordering a smaller base diameter, we can include strips of the adhesive foam upon request. Just indicate that you would like us to include foam strips in the comments box during checkout.


For comparison purposes, the BS1065G small glass is pictured alongside our standard size EC1001 globe. The BS1065G globe is smaller in stature, but maintains the same elegant fluted shape as the larger EC1001. In selecting a replacement hurricane, the most important measurement to consider is the interior diameter of your hurricane cup. Measure the opening on the inside, and be sure to order a globe that has a smaller base diameter than that of the hurricane cup.

	One of my hurricanes was broken. I was concerned that I couldn't replace it. I found your web sight and took a chance that you could match it's mate. When it arrived well packaged and in good condition I was pleased but not as pleased as I was when I found that it matches the mate perfectly. Not bad for being made 17 years apart. Great experience. 	Annoying packaging
	Globes arrived and they fit, which is great. The downside to your packaging is usage of the black foam strip you put around the base of the globe. Unfortunately the strip has a very sticky backing and left foam pieces and a sticky mess all over the base. I suggest that you use a foam without the sticky back and just tape it on... took me 15 minutes using cooking oil and soap to get the mess off. Administrator Note: We often use this adhesive foam, and it is intended to remain on the globes. The foam is used to help cushion the glass against the metal to both secure it, and prevent breakage when being taken in and out of the hurricane socket. We apologize if that was unclear. If you prefer that the adhesive not be put on the globes, that can be specified in the Order Comments box at the time of purchase. Please do note that removing the foam also alters the base diameter slightly, so it may be a bit loose.
