Policies

OUR SHIPPING POLICIES

In-stock items are generally shipped within two business days after receipt of your order. Orders ship via either Fedex or USPS. Please be sure to include a street address for Fedex delivery.

We offer free Ground shipping on all domestic US orders over two hundred dollars except factory seconds and church bells. The order amount must total $200.00 or more of qualifying items after any discounts or promotions have been applied. Free shipping not valid on shipments to Alaska and Hawaii. Expedited shipping is available for an additional charge. Shipping charges are not refundable.

Free shipping is for retail customers only. Wholesale customers will have shipping added to their order unless you contact us with your UPS or Fedex credentials.

Expedited shipping options and pricing are listed in the form of a drop-down menu on the shopping cart screen. All expedited shipping orders are given priority processing. In most cases, expedited orders placed by 12:00 PM PST will ship out the next day. Please feel free to call for confirmation of the shipping schedule.

We are also happy to ship internationally. The purchaser is responsible for all shipping, customs and applicable duty fees on international orders. The most economical way to ship internationally is generally using the USPS Priority Mail International service. USPS will collect and applicable taxes or duty fees upon delivery. During the checkout process, the different shipping service options and their corresponding costs will be displayed in a drop down menu so that you can choose your preferred service level. International shipping generally take 6 to 10 business days, but that also depends on customs, as well as your local postal service.

We ship on all regular business days except for the following holidays:

On occasion, other days may be designated as non-shipping days due to illness or travel. Please email customerservice@brassandsilvertraditions.com if your order is time sensitive.


OUR RETURN POLICY
We will accept the return of any of our items within 30 days, except for factory seconds, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase. The merchandise must be unused and in new condition. Returns must be authorized within 30 days of the date of purchase. We do not refund shipping charges, and customers are responsible for the return shipping charge. Please note that we are unable to issue refunds to credit cards after 60 days, so please ship your return promptly. Returns received after 60 days can only be given store credit. To return your purchase, please log into your account to request the RMA. If you prefer, or of you are not registered on our website, feel free to call or email us for Return Authorization with the following information: the date the order was placed, the name on the order, and the reason for return.

There will be a 20% restocking charge to cover our handling costs in the following cases: If the merchandise is returned without prior authorization, if the merchandise is returned without all of the original packaging and wrapping, or of the merchandise is returned in used condition. 

Factory Seconds are sold AS IS, and at a loss. Therefore, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on purchases of Factory Seconds. The imperfections in these items are minor, and cosmetic in nature.

We hand inspect each and every item we sell prior to shipping to ensure the very best quality. On occasion, problems do still occur. If you find any sort of defect with your merchandise, please contact us within six months, and we will do our best to correct the problem. We do not offer a lifetime warranty. Feel free to touch base if you have a problem with merchandise that was purchased over six months ago. In some cases we may be able to help somehow, but there is no guarantee of that. Thank you for your understanding.

BACKORDERS

We do not enable back orders for out of stock items until we expect to have the products available to ship in less than 30 days. Once we reasonably expect that we can ship an out of stock item within 30 days, we may enable back ordering.  Should you choose to place a back order, please be aware that your credit card will be charged immediately, and your order will ship as soon as we receive the products in our warehouse. If there is a delay that makes us unable to ship back orders within 30 days, we will contact you to see if you would like to keep your back order active, or if you would prefer a refund.

WHOLESALE/DESIGN PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTS

We are happy to offer discounted pricing for approved resellers and interior design/event planning professionals. To obtain approval for these discounted price levels, please register for an account as either a wholesaler or a design professional, or call us for pricing information. Upon approval you will then be eligible for the applicable price level. Please note that Free Shipping and other coupons or discounts are not valid in conjunction with wholesale/designer discount purchases. OTHER POLICIES

Our goal is to provide the best possible service and highest quality merchandise at reasonable prices. We hope you will enjoy browsing through our web store. We are always happy to answer any questions by e-mail or telephone. As a small business, we do not have set phone hours, but we do respond to all messages within one business day. All major credit cards are accepted. Payment may also be made by check or money order. To do this, please choose the "Mailing Check" option on the shopping cart drop-down menu. Check payment orders will not ship until payment has been received in full, and the check has cleared through our bank.

All items may be returned for credit if they are not satisfactory. Returned items must be received in new condition within 30 days of purchase.Please review the full return policy above.
