This Beehive Candlestick has heavy Pewter plating over solid brass, it measures 7-1/2" high X 3" base. The Beehive design is one inspired by early English cottage gardens. One of the most famous English cottage gardens was designed, not by an English gardener but, by none other than the French Impressionist painter, Claude Monet (1840-1926) who, we think, would be pleased with our offering. The Pewter is lacquered to maintain its luster, the base is felted to protect fine finishes. This candlestick weighs 1 pound 3 ounces.

  This was a gift for my sister....I will see her and the candlestick in March...I'll let you know then rating. She said she "loved it"....but, you know, it was a gift and she is so very gracious.
